Amisha Mehta

Amisha Mehta is a Mumbai-based artist, poet, and musician who has found in her art a means of exploring the depths of her innermost self. Her works in painting, poetry, and music are all inspired by her journey of self-discovery, which she sees as a process of dissolving into the blank canvas or paper and emerging in a state of total surrender to the creative process. Her recent works are an attempt to capture the subtle stirrings of the soul, which appear and disappear like reflections in infinite space. Amisha’s works are characterized by a technique that blends colors in a way that creates an ethereal, almost spiritual effect. She now focuses on the five elements of Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Space, and teaches at her studio, Creative Skills, where she emphasizes the importance of creativity in self-expression and healing.
