Anupam Sud, born in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, is an artist recognised for her contributions to the growth of printmaking in India, Anupam Sud is considered one of the most significant artists of India. Sud studied at the College of Art, New Delhi, and later advanced her printmaking techniques at the Slade School of Fine Arts, London. She was a key member of Group 8, formed by her mentor Jagmohan Chopra. Sud’s works have been exhibited globally, with pieces housed in prestigious collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
The artist currently lives and works in New Delhi, India.
