Arunanshu Chowdhury (b. 1969)

Arunanshu Chowdhury was born in 1969 in Hoogli; West Bengal Chowdhury completed his BFA and MFA at the M.S University, Baroda. Large canvases. Strong strokes. Bold images. A passion for statements of truth. All this comes to ones mind after a look at Arunanshu’s work. Ever since his post graduate days Arunanshu has been open to experimentation in the usage of different and mixed media, working with oils, charcoal, collage, paper, acrylic, water colours and even screen printing . Anything to achieve the desired result. Arunanshu has had many solo shows within the country, and has participated in many domestic and international shows.

The artist currently lives and works in New Delhi, India.
