Costa Vavagiakis is a celebrated artist whose work has been exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C., Hirschl & Adler Galleries in New York, and The Frye Art Museum in Seattle. His art is part of prestigious collections like the Museum of the City of New York and the New-York Historical Society. Vavagiakis has received numerous awards, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and the Gregory Millard Fellowship. An esteemed educator, he has taught at institutions like the National Academy of Design School and is currently on the faculty at the Yale School of Drama, the Gage Academy, and the Art Students’ League of New York, where he has taught for over two decades.
