Pravin Utge is a contemporary artist celebrated for his vibrant portrayal of womanhood and its inherent power. Trained at Bharati Kala Mahavidyalaya in Pune, where he earned a G.D. Art in Painting and Drawing and a diploma in Art Education, Utge combines traditional techniques with a modern aesthetic. His work is heavily influenced by the Rajasthani miniature tradition, featuring dreamy, poetic figures of women that symbolize abundance and strength, often depicted as Hindu goddesses like Saraswati and Lakshmi. His recent nature series, focusing on flowers and lotuses with abstract backgrounds, showcases his detailed and expressive use of color. Through his art, Utge offers energetic yet sensitive compositions that pay tribute to the grace, beauty, and complexity of women.
