Romicon Revola (b. 1983)
Romicon Revola, also known as Romi, is an Indian contemporary visual artist. Her multidisciplinary art practice spans monumental public sculpture, installation, painting, video, and digital art. Romi’s innovative work has earned her several accolades, including the 2019 CIMA Infosys Special Award and the Karnataka Women Achievers Award for Excellence in Art & Culture. Notable projects include her immersive digital art piece “#Who R U?” featured in “The Future is Here” exhibition in Mumbai, and her video “Ocean within a drop” screened at the Birmingham Art Summit. Romi’s large-scale public art installations are prominently displayed across various landmarks in Bangalore and beyond, reflecting her deep engagement with contemporary artistic expression.
