Saima Adnan

I draw inspiration in my paintings from my personal thoughts, beliefs and experiences, as well as my formal art education. I am completely captivated with people and movement, and it is my favorite subject to paint. I portray on my canvas the deepest emotion of humans, especially during meditation.

Oil painting is my favorite medium. I love exploring the sheer depth that can be achieved with oil paints. I particularly love working with the techniques of the old masters.

I have exhibited around the world including Dubai and Canada. I have been honored by being selected in the annual juried show in art gallery of Burlington, Canada in 2016.

Most recently I have attended the prestigious Sheridan college, Canada, to compliment my existing skills with the newest techniques in sketching, painting, sculpting and life drawing. I am also a member of the Oil Glazers Association of Canada as well as the Fine Art Association of Burlington, Canada.
