Shakeel Momin
Shakeel’s works of art are full of life and are very pleasing to the eye. He revels in the use of colour’s which are vibrant and bold and his simple and common subject of Brahmins and musicians invoke a deep chord in the viewer’s sensibilities. Shakeel reveals a great sense of the colour palette. He does not fear the use of colour which stands out in his works and his figures though simple show a great sense of rhythm and flow. Looking at his work one can actually feel the music which is greatly heightened by his colour combinations. Even though Shakeel`s works are watercolours on paper depicting such rhythm, vibrancy, and detailing in this medium with such ease shows his great talent and confidence.
