Vivek Nayyar (b. 1969)
Vivek Nayyar is a wildlife photographer whose passion for nature began over four decades ago. He discovered wildlife photography in 2010 during a national park visit and, determined to improve, pursued formal training and guidance from top photographers. Known for his patience and ethical approach, Vivek captures intimate, detailed moments in the wild that reflect both beauty and emotion. His work highlights the importance of conservation while showcasing India’s rich biodiversity. He often spends weekends in national parks and uses longer holidays to trek the Himalayas in search of rare encounters and breathtaking vistas.
Vivek currently lives and works in Mumbai, India.
